Sober January turned into damp January rather quickly, but I like to think it was just a necessity to stay warm during the Pennsylvania winter. Plus, happy hour is significantly more enjoyable when having a nice cocktail versus a diet coke.

To celebrate freedom, or freedom to indulge in February, I wanted to treat myself to an old favorite. Tubi 60 is an Israelian herbal spirit that on their website is described as “Tubi 60 is liquid euphoria. More than an Alcohol, It’s an Elixir.” Is this Tubi 60 truly euphoria? Depends on your mood, but it is always a vibe.

Tubi 60 can be mixed, drank straight up, and thrown back as a shot. I’d say mixed is generally the preferred method of consumption. Luckily, I have a simple recipe for the readers today!

Tubi 60 has a very ginger like taste, so it pairs well with ginger-ale. I prefer diet ginger-ale to keep the calories low. The last component, which is important to add, is a splash of cranberry juice. Not only does the cranberry juice make the drink very aesthetically pleasing, it also rounds out the drink.

By the way, if you didn’t know my favorite number is three and this drink is truly a delicious trifecta.

Let’s get to it, here’s the recipe for what I like to call Tubi Happy (pronounced To Be Happy)

Tubi Happy

Servings 1

  • 1.5 – 3.0 oz Tubi 60
  • (Diet) Ginger Ale
  • Cranberry Juice

  • Add Tubi 60 to a cocktail glass with ice, add ginger ale, and top with a splash of cranberry juice.
